Hi friend. My EP album Finding place is out and I really want to share with you the full experience of it. It was recorded in Studio Bambus in 2021 and Stebbi and I put a lot of work into making it a little work of art. A musical experience where every song flows into the next seamlessly without stopping. Every song has its story. No man’s land, Finding Place and Out of the dark are a kind of diary from when I wrote them, I had moved back home to Iceland after many years abroad, after a heartbreak and I felt I had to find footing again in a new “old” place. They reflect a restless person transforming and growing. I wrote Sister in the me too movement in 2017. It’s an ode to all my sisters and directed towards those who don’t believe people who have suffered and finally speak up. I stand with and I believe them. We want to do better and we’ll go through growing pains while we learn.

Easy to choose was written as a surprise wedding gift to a good friend of mine (who then plays the trumpets in the song). She met her now husband just before he was to move countries. The distance made them realize how much they wanted to be together. A heartwarming tale of love many can relate to. And now you know the stories. Love to you and I hope you enjoy. MIMRA
